Diversity Day set for Nov. 7
Morehead State University’s Office of Enrollment Services has announced its fall 2009 Diversity Day minority recruitment program. Diversity Day will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC) and Button Auditorium.
Students registered for Diversity Day also will participate in Open House from 9 a.m. to noon in ADUC. Current student leaders and members of multicultural student organizations will be on hand throughout the day to serve as resources.
MSU encourages all attendees to join a university student ambassador for a tour of the campus. Faculty members will be available during the departmental fair to speak with students about their academic area of interest, financial aid counselors will discuss students’ financial aid options, and much more.
Seniors are encouraged to submit a completed application (high school transcript, ACT/SAT score and $30 application fee) to be considered for admission.
Diversity Day was created in fall 2007 to address the needs of underrepresented student populations interested in attending MSU.
