Project-Based Learning Challenge
The 21st Century Education Enterprise Center is looking for examples of innovative use of project-based learning. We want to share some of the great projects and work that is happening in Kentucky schools. We want everyone to see what creative teachers are doing to engage students and enhance learning. Cash prizes will be awarded directly to teachers submitting the winning projects.
It is easy to enter. Just complete the online entry form. You will be asked to provide a brief description of your project and a URL where the results of your project can be viewed. URLs should be for a publically-viewable site hosted either by the submitting school/district or by a third-party sharing sites such as YouTube or Vimeo. If you are not able to post your project to a web site, you may submit it on disk via mail. Hard-copy submissions can be sent to:

Win. All submissions will be reviewed by an expert panel with winners receiving cash prizes: $3,000 for first prize. $2,000 for second. $1,000 for third. In addition, all entries will be considered for publication in the Dataseam Grid web magazine.
Timed for School. You have the entire 2008-2009 school year to complete this project. Entries will be accepted through April 1, 2009 with prizes awarded May 1, 2009.
Sharing Success. This is a tremendous way for us all to see some of the outstanding programs that are making learning more productive for students across the region.
