Educational Service Unit

Welcome!  The Educational Service Unit provides coordination and delivery of services in the following areas: Teacher Education Program (TEP) admissions, field experiences, clinical practice, teacher certification, and first year internships for Kentucky teachers and principals.

• College sophomores and juniors will gain admission to the Teacher Education Program and participate in numerous field experience opportunities in the public schools.

• College seniors will complete PRAXIS exams, a professional semester, and complete paperwork toward certification.

• First year teachers and principals will complete the Kentucky Teacher Internship Program or Kentucky Principal Internship Program. Members of the intern committee include teacher and administrator educators assigned by the ESU staff.
