Terry Lynn Irons

Biographical Sketch

In his 15^th year at MSU, Terry Irons received the award for outstanding faculty service in 2003.  A professor of English, he is actively investigating language variation and change in Kentucky speech and is involved in numerous community organizations.   In addition to serving as faculty regent, he is the president of the Coalition of Senate and Faculty Leadership, a forum of faculty leadership of the eight public institutions of higher learning in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. 

       Ronald Morrison

     Biographical Sketch

Dr. Ron Morrison, Professor of English, has been a faculty member since 1988. His service experience includes serving as Chair of the Faculty Senate (2001-02), Chair of the University Tenure Committee (2003-04), Chair of Faculty Rights and Responsibility Committee (1997-99), and Chair of the President’s Ad Hoc Committee on Faculty Salaries (2002-08).  In 2003 he won an Outstanding Teacher Award from the South Atlantic Association of Departments of English, and in 2004 he received an MSU Distinguished Researcher Award.
