About the Faculty Senate

In order to support a system of shared governance in decision making which promotes mutual understanding and coordination of efforts among faculty, staff, administrators, and students as they strive to meet the university's mission. The Faculty Senate, an elected representative body of the University faculty, serves to express the faculty voice and functions as the primary mechanism for faculty participation in university governance.
