January 2010 Update

Although the media has decreased coverage of the H1N1 and seasonal flu, it is important to keep a vigilant proactive stance on prevention of the spread of the flu virus. Please remember to cover your cough or sneezes, use frequent adequate hand washing practices and stay home if you have a temperature. Also, visit the University Health Clinic or your primary care provider if you have a prolonged or severe illness.

H1N1 flu vaccines are available at the University Health Clinic and can be obtained during our regular clinic hours. We continue to encourage anyone who has not received their vaccine to stop by the clinic and receive your H1N1 vaccine. The vaccines available now are in the form of injection, are free of charge and available to anyone regardless of age. Please stop by and receive your H1N1 vaccination.

Weekly postings will resume if there in a need to inform the University community of any increased incidence. Stay healthy and have a good semester.
