General Education Reform
With the Fall 2007 semester, Morehead State University will begin the process of re-designing the General Education program. The intent of the re-design is to build a program of foundational competencies that more effectively prepares students for academic programs of study and for the 21st Century global environment. The new program will include assessment components that allow for a cycle of continuous improvement in quality and effectiveness.
The MSU community is invited to initiate this effort by reading Pathway to Success for the 21st Century: Redesigning General Education, and participating in the Developing Learner Outcomes Survey.
