Student Organizations
Phi Alpha Theta is a professional society whose mission is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. Membership is open to all students who have completed 12 semester hours in History with a minimum GPA of 3.1 in History and an overall GPA of 3.0. MSU Historical Society
The MSU Historical Society is an organization for students interested in history. The society fosters a professional interest in historical subjects by creating, participating, and sponsoring historical debates, and events with an historical theme.
