Legal Studies

The bachelor of arts degree in Legal Studies will equip you with the appropriate applied and theoretical knowledge of law to successfully assist lawyers in providing legal services to clients. A minor in legal studies is also available.

Students who earn a degree from our program are prepared to immediately enter the work force upon graduation. Our graduates pursue careers in:

  • Government (local, state and federal)
  • Non-profits
  • Corporations (hospitals, insurance companies, corporate risk assessment departments and trust and collection departments of banks and businesses)

Earning your degree in legal studies will also prepare you for entrance into graduate and law schools. We offer pre-law advising to help you prepare successful law school applications.
