Thank you for showing an interest in Health and Physical Education teaching.
We are always interested in meeting people who care about the health and well being of our future generations. It is a sad commentary that unhealthy and inactive lifestyles may mean that today's youth will be the first generation in United States history to have a shorter lifespan than their parents. Being a health and physical education teacher and helping to reverse this trend is a valuable contribution to our youth and to our society.
Our teacher education program is designed to help you not only be successful in gaining the necessary credentials for landing a job but will also give you the skills you will want in order to feel confident that you can motivate all children (even non-athletic students) to enjoy healthful active lifestyles. In addition, since our focus is on allowing children to feel successful and to enjoy physical activity, we have a lot of fun in our teacher education classes. Please come join us.
