The Caudill College recently completed a five-year strategic planning process that strengthened many of our undergraduate and graduate programs; increased courses and programs taught at regional campuses; advanced library inclusion, technology integration, and alternative course delivery systems; enhanced resources through grant-writing and private fund-raising; advanced the visibility of the arts throughout the campus and region; lead the campus in many areas of diversity; promoted collaboration with other colleges regarding teacher preparation; and, added to an already talented and committed faculty and staff focused on student learning and success. Recently, a new four-year plan was developed titled, The New Vision: Demonstration of Support for the Morehead State University Strategic Plan 2006-2010 “ASPIRE.” This plan is even more ambitious than the last and is designed to move the Caudill College of Humanities forward in the areas of academic excellence, student success, productive partnerships, improved infrastructure, resource enhancement, enrollment and retention, and diversity and interdisciplinary programs.

I invite you to take the time to take a virtual tour of our academic departments, programs and events.  You will find that the Caudill College of Humanities is student-centered and committed to excellence through continuous improvement at all levels. If you are on campus, I invite you to stop by my office in Rader Hall 212 so that we have an opportunity to meet. If you have any questions about the Caudill College, please contact me at (606)783-2650 or by e-mail at s.mcbride@moreheadstate.edu.
