The Multimedia Lab has 12 computer stations and houses computer aided instruction materials (CAI), DVD and VHS titles.
Two state of the art intravenous (I.V.) simulation trainers allow nursing students to practice I.V. insertion and therapy utilizing a wide range of patient scenarios. The sensitive simulation equipment monitors students at a level never before achieved.
Reference books are in easy reach. These include dosage workbooks, Physician's Desk Reference (PDR), medication references, and textbooks. Care planning books are available upon request and lab personnel are happy to assist.
Computerized tutoring and testing is provided in dosage calculation to assure proficiency in this vital nursing skill. Lab personnel are also available for personal assistance.
National benchmark testing is carried out in the Multimedia lab. Students access national testing programs which compare their scores to students nationwide.
