Patient Care Lab
Hours of Operation: 8:00a-4:30p Monday through Friday
The Patient Care Lab includes four rooms for practice of skills. Rooms 237 and 237A of the nursing laboratory simulate healthcare facilities with individual patient bed areas. Room 235 nursing laboratory is used for the practice of health assessment skills and has exam tables. Sections of Room 235 are designed for practice and video-taping of skills.
The LRC Patient Care Lab is proud to offer some of the leading technology in patient care simulation. You can prepare to deliver the hands- on skills needed for the care of your clients. You can listen to heart sounds, practice intravenous (I.V.) insertion, learn tracheotomy care, and practice giving medications as well as practice many other skills.
