School of Public Affairs
Up for a challenge? Like exciting travel? How about a potential scholarship?
It's a /RAPP!!
What is /RAPP??
/RAPP is offered by the School of Public Affairs through the Institute for Regional Analysis and Public Policy (IRAPP), MSU's Program of Distinction. IRAPP brings students and faculty together from across a wide array of disciplines to analyze problems and issues facing the region.
You can add the /RAPP emphasis to your major if you're a student in Geography, Government, Sociology, Environmental Science, or Social Work; it makes a great minor, too!
Why is /RAPP good for me?
Scholarships up to $6000 per year are available for meritorious students
You'll have a chance to work closely with great faculty members from a variety of backgrounds
Supervised Research Projects and Summer Internships are an important part of the program. Whether you are planning to apply to Grad School, Law School, or have your sights set on a great job after graduation, the experience you'll gain will help get you ahead professionally
A chance to work on solving problems and addressing issues directly relevant to our community and the region
Exciting class trips (Washington, D.C. and Frankfort, KY)
Add /RAPP to your Major (or minor) at Spring Registration! *Registration begins November 9th
