Favorite MSU Memory: My favorite memory is having the opportunity to walk across the stage at MSU’s commencement ceremony at the AAC in May 2007 as a non-traditional student to receive my bachelor’s degree with my mother, father, daughter and husband in attendance. MSU made it possible for me – in my 40s – to accomplish something I never thought I would at my age. No matter what your age, MSU can make your dreams come true.

What makes MSU much more than a university: It would have to be experiencing engaged faculty and staff who are invested in their students’ success and having the opportunities to begin or complete a degree that I started years ago.
