Bluegrass 'n More: A Celebration of American Music - June 1-3, 2007

"Bluegrass 'n More: A Celebration of American Music" features numerous performances of Bluegrass, traditional, acoustic and other music, showcasing regional talent, as well as nationally-recognized musicians and songwriters.

Most of the activities of "Bluegrass 'n More" are held at or near the Cora Wilson Stewart Moonlight School in the historic First Street Arts District. This year's festival will feature: Pieta Brown, Mark Eubank, Carla Gover, Rob McNurlin, Daniel & Amy Carwile, the Sugar & Spice Cloggers, Dave Carroll & New River Line, Pete & Joan Wernick, Clack Mountain String Band, Grass Towne, Don Rigsby & Midnight Call, Kenny & Amanda Smith, Bobby Osborne & Rocky Top Express, Salvation Rain and The Easter Brothers. >> Schedule 

In addition to music, various arts and heritage events are held during the festival, including presentation of the Appalachian Treasure Award, which recognizes individuals dedicated to the preservation of Appalachian culture and traditions. FolkFest, A Day in the Country Folk Art Show & Sale and the Appalachian Arts and Craft Fair are also held in conjunction with the festival. Several area art exhibits also are scheduled during this weekend.

Bluegrass 'n More also features children's games, great festival food and more. It's family-friendly and free to all!
