Educational Outreach
"Sounds of Our Heritage"
KCTM partners with Kentucky Folk Art Center to offer educational programming to public schools across Kentucky. Over the past four years, our educational outreach program has served hundreds of teachers and more than 50,000 students in
Kentucky. The program offers traveling tabletop exhibitions, digital exhibitions using iPod technology, educational concerts, and other on-site programming. Over the next two years we will be redesigning our educational outreach program
in keeping with changes to Kentucky’s school curriculum and testing requirements. Our new program will be unveiled in 2011.
