Matt has served as Director of KFAC since 2003. In the summer of 2009, he accepted an additional assignment as Senior Director of Cultural Outreach, Preservation, and Education at MSU. The new position gives him to opportunity to coordinate programming development and outreach efforts at the Kentucky Folk Art Center, Kentucky Center for Traditional Music (KCTM), and Morehead State Public Radio (MSPR).
At KFAC, Matt has been instrumental in genrating growth of the Center's programs and profile. Before coming to MSU, he directed operations for two nationally affiliated non-profit organizations. Matt is a poet who has published widely in many national publications and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Ohio State.

Before being hired as MSU's folk art curator, Adrian was a potter in Kentucky for 15 years, including five years as an artist-in-residence in Kentucky public schools and four years running his own gallery in Morehead. Born and raised in England, his fascination with contemporary folk art began with a chance encounter with Kentucky folk art legend Edgar Tolson in 1973. Soon after moving to Morehead, he began a long friendship with Charley and Noah Kinney and with Minnie and Garland Adkins. Since coming to work at MSU in 1987, Adrian has overseen the growth of the permanent collection to more than 1,300 pieces. He has curated numerous exhibitions for KFAC and traveling exhibits at other cultural institutions. Adrian has written and published extensively on Kentucky folk art.

Erin joined KFAC in November, 2007. A Native of East Tennessee, Erin came to Morehead State University to complete her degree in Art after completing a degree in textiles, merchandising, and design at Middle Tennessee State University. She gained significant experience working with children in previous positions. Erin provides regular support to teachers throughout Kentucky and manages joint educational outreach efforts for KFAC, KCTM, and MSPR.

Tammy joined the KFAC staff as a secretary in 1997 after serving five years on the staff of U.S. Rep. Carl C. Perkins. Her organizational abilities and strong interpersonal skills soon led to her current position as museum store coordinator when the permanent KFAC facility opened. A native of Morehead, Tammy provides a warm, friendly, and helpful public face to KFAC through her interaction with artists, collectors, school children, college students, and the general public. Tammy also provides support to MSPR.

A graduate of Lewis County High School, she provides clerical support to other staff members at KFAC, KCTM, and MSPR and manages student employees for those units. |

Jill C. Vice coordinates marketing and event activities for KFAC, KCTM, and MSPR. She is a 2004 graduate of MSU with a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in advertising and public relations. Jill also assists with event planning and implementation for the Office of University Advancement.
