You are hereby invited by our royal Lord and Lady Andrews to experience the laughter and song of a medieval holiday on Dec. 8, 9, or 10. The 2011 Ye Olde Madrigal Feaste is presented by the Caudill College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance is delighted to perform a new and exciting holiday show. Take one evening away from the bustle of the season to feast amongst royalty and close the year in grand fashion. 

The evening begins with the joyful carolers of the MSU University Chorus as they greet you upon your arrival. Join your fellow townsfolk in the reception hall for hot wassail and fine company. From the reception, you will step into candlelit splendor and enjoy a succulent banquet that will be served in the tradition of Medieval Europe. Students in the School of the Arts will lead you on a tour of the traditional English holiday feast through song, food and theater. 

By attending, you get to spend a wonderful holiday evening with beautiful music and festive entertainment. Please join us this holiday season to share our holiday cheer.  

The Ye Olde Madrigal Feaste supports scholarships and educational opportunities to students from the School of the Arts.

Three identical productions will take place on Dec. 8, 9 and 10 in the Crager Room of Morehead State University’s Adron Doran University Center. A wine reception will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner beginning at 7 p.m.

Individual tickets are $30.A discounted rate of $20 is available to MSU faculty, staff, students and retirees for the Thursday night performance. Corporate sponsors may purchase a table for 8 for $300 (includes recognition in print material).
