Foundation Courses

Applicants that do not possess an undergraduate degree in business may be required to complete the foundation course sequence in addition to the 36 hours necessary to satisfy the degree requirements. What foundation courses that may be needed, if any, can only be determined by a review of the applicants undergraduate and graduate transcripts. The foundation course sequence, or comparable courses or experience, must be completed prior to full admission with at least a 3.0 average and no grade of less than C in any course. The foundation course sequence is as follows:

MNGT 600 Survey of Management and Organizational Behavior Principles of Management or higher 3 hrs.
MKT 600 Survey of Marketing Principles of Marketing 3 hrs.
FIN 600 Survey of Finance Business Finance 3 hrs
    Total Foundation Course Sequence 18 hrs.

Note: None of the four graduate level survey courses (ACCT 600, MNGT/FIN 602, ECON 600, FIN 600, MKT 600 or MNGT 600) satisfy the requirements of the 36 hour MBA program. They are prerequisite courses only.
