What is ROTC?


Army ROTC is a program of leadership and military skills training. It prepares Morehead State students for officer responsibilities in the Active Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard following graduation.

Button Auditorium - Home of the Eagle Battalion (Above Right)

The top floor of Button Auditorium is dedicated to Cadet Classrooms, Cadre Offices, Computer Lab, Military Library, Cadet Offices for MS IV's, Cadet Lounge and the Eagle Conference Room. The ground floor contains our Drill Floor (left side of entrance) and the Auditorium (right side of entrance). The basement has the Indoor Rifle Range, Supply Rooms and Supply and Rifle Team Offices. 

The campus has numerous training locations for our Battalion, to include MSU Eagle Lake, Recreation and Wellness Center (Morning PT), Odyssey Challenge High ROPES Course, Laughlin Health Bldg, as well as nearby Daniel Boone National Forest (Field Training and Paintball).
