NewsCenter
NewsCenter is MSU’s student produced Television Newscast,running 30 minutes every Thursday afternoon, Live at 5 on MSU-TV. The staff of NewsCenter is comprised solely of students. This includes directors, producers, anchors and reporters, all the way through each of the necessary crew positions involved with creating live television. The primary mission of NewsCenter is to provide a live television news service for the campus community while offering TV News Journalism and TV Production experience to all of the undergraduates involved.

Meet The Producers
Tim Creekmore is the Faculty Advisor for NewsCenter as well as the Coordinator of MSU-TV. Mr. Creekmore is an instructor of Electronic Media Production and supervises the Electronic Media Production facilities within MSU's Department of Communication and Theatre. He also instructs the CMEM Practicum courses, enrolling media students that make up the production staff of NewsCenter and MSU-TV.
Kate Jennings is a Junior at Morehead State University majoring in Journalism and minoring in Visual Arts. She is originally from Louisville, Kentucky, and formerly worked as a managing editor for the Trail Blazer. She hopes to make a career working in the newspaper business.
