Biography Dr. Molly Roseman is Visiting Assistant Professor of Piano where she teaches applied piano and class piano at Morehead State University. Roseman also serves as Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where she teaches piano, group piano, and other piano related courses. Roseman is a versatile performer who has appeared in many venues throughout the United States. She has performed numerous times on Wisconsin Public Radio and has appeared at such venues including the South Beach Up North Music Festival (WI), the Atlanta Pro-Mozart Society, the Tallahassee Bach Parley (FL), the National Flute Association, and the International Saxophone Symposium. She has also performed with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra and, as orchestral pianist, with the Green Bay Symphony.
Roseman, with her husband Jacob, also maintains an active performance schedule as a flute and piano duo. They have given numerous recitals at colleges, public school outreach programs, and chamber music series. Ms. Roseman is a frequent clinician and has given various piano-related workshops at the local, state and regional level. She is an active member of the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association and is listed in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, Who’s Who of American Women, and Who’s Who in American Education.
Roseman received a B.M. in Piano Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory; a M.M. in Piano Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music; and a D.M. in Piano Performance from Florida State University. Her teachers include James Streem, Jeffrey Kahane, and Richard Cass. Additional studies include collaborative piano with Jean Barr at the Eastman School of Music. Dr. Roseman has previously taught at Oklahoma Baptist University, Florida State University, and the Wausau Conservatory of Music.
