Hornbeck is 2007 Gallaher Winner -- Matthew Hornbeck of Ironton, Ohio, won the 20th annual A. Frank and Bethel C. Gallaher Memorial Music Performance Competition at Morehead State University. The award, presented each spring to a junior music major, includes a $1,000 cash prize and the honor of performing at MSU’s Academic Awards Convocation. [more]

Students Hit High Notes -- As the judges watched the performances, they knew it would come down to the young man and young woman. The man's was so diverse, the woman's was so technically sound.
