Scholarships available for study abroad
Morehead State University students who plan to study abroad in Spring or Summer 2010 are encouraged to apply for financial aid through the Office of International Student Services.
Applications may be delivered to Bromagen House, across from Baird Music Hall, or sent via e-mail to Dr. Philip Krummrich, chair of the Department of International and Disciplinary Studies.
An application must include the following information:
• Full name and contact information;
• Grade point average, major, and class rank;
• The program for which you are applying and its total cost;
• A brief statement on the importance of this program to your education.
Two recommendations must be sent directly to Dr. Krummrich. The recommendations should focus on your ability to make the most of a chance to study abroad. At least one must be from an MSU faculty member, with whom the student has recently studied.
Applications should be submitted by Nov. 16; applications received later will be considered if funds are available.
Additional information is available by calling Dr. Krummrich at (606) 783-2726 or e-mailing at p.krummrich@moreheadstate.edu.
