Morehead State University is proud to offer a week-long Advanced Placement Summer Institute for teachers with the desire to excel in the pursuit of creative ideas. The institute makes a difference for teachers seeking guidance in beginning an AP course or strengthening an existing course. These sessions offer information to the new teacher preparing to teach Advanced Placement courses and to update and refine skills of the experienced teacher.

Morehead State University reserves the right to cancel courses due to low enrollment.
College Board Southern Regional Office Requirement
Participants who miss more than 10% of the AP Summer Institute will not be given a certificate of completion.
Workshop Format
Participants enroll in only one AP subject for the duration of the workshop. Each day includes comprehensive instruction and interaction with AP session leaders. Workshop sessions focus on positive and effective teaching strategies and practical classroom use of AP materials.
Accomodations
All workshops will be held on the campus of Morehead State University. Housing and meals will be the responsibility of the participant except where noted.
Registration and Payment
To register please complete the registration form available online my clicking the appropriate link or call (606) 783-2605 for a brochure. The $425.00 (the fee is subject to change based on national requirements) registration fee for each of the workshops covers the cost of instruction, College Board Advanced Placement Packets and other training materials. There is an additional $50.00 lab fee for the Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Physics workshops.
