Motorcycle Rider Safety 2010 Program - Ashland and Morehead

The Kentucky Motorcycle Rider Safety class is for non-riders, new riders, or someone wanting a refresher course.  During the course, you will be taught to maneuver and operate a motorcycle in a controlled, off-street environment.  Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a waiver for the skills test to obtain your motorcycle license.  The skills test waiver is available for Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia residents. Check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles. Most insurance agencies offer 10% - 20% discounts to persons completing the course.  Motorcycles and helmets are furnished to each student.  The course is a minimum of 15 hours.  All classes meet on Friday, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  All classroom and skills hours must be attended in order to successfully complete course requirements.
