Meetings: Our weekly meetings are held on TUESDAYS at 5:30 p.m. in ADUC 312 and WEDNESDAYS at 5:30 p.m. in ADUC 302
As many of you have class at 6 p.m., the room will be open at 5 p.m. and we will always have some people who come early to hang out and discuss issues, so please feel free to stop by early.
Support Group: Our weekly LGBT support group focuses on personal growth, leadership, issues (coming out, spirituality, relationships), etc. We will be accepting new members for the Fall 09 semester until Sept. 30. For more information, please contact Kristy Hayes.
Note: This is a personal support group dealing with LGBT issues and overall well-being and is NOT centered around mental health counseling. If you would like to learn more about mental health counseling opportunities, please contact the University Counseling Center (606-783-2123; 112 Allie Young Hall) or the Pathways, Inc. Business minutes for each meeting will be posted by the ALLYance secretary by the end of the week of that meeting. In an effort to increase visibility, education and awareness, the ALLYance keeps an open record of business matters, event planning, topical discussions, etc. NOTE: Member identity and the contents of private dialogue will be kept confidential and will NOT be recorded by the secretary.
