Joining Sigma Alpha Iota: International Music Fraternity

Here are a couple of things you should know...

To become a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, a prospective woman must meet the following requirements for the Gamma Upsilon Chapter:

1) Have a sincere and loyal love for music.
2) You must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and submit verifiable proof.
3) You must have completed at least one semester of classes at MSU.
4) You need not be a music major, but you must have a class in music. 
5) Submit a recommendation form from MSU Faculty or Staff.
6) Be able to meet financial obligations.

All of the above information will be explained at our informal Rush parties held during the Fall and beginning of the Spring semesters.  It is important that you understand that you are required to attend at least one informal Rush and our Formal Musicale to begin pledging for the Gamma Upsilon Chapter. If you have any questions, please contact the Vice President of Membership, as she will be able to provide answers to any of your questions.
