The teaching option of the Mathematics Area of Concentration is geared toward those who want to be secondary school teachers with a strong background in mathematics.

The B.S. in mathematics provides a solid mathematical background in theory and computational techniques that prepares students for numerous careers in industry, businesses, and academia.

This option is for those interested in electrical engineering. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering.

Morehead State offers a number of options for students who plan to become professionally licensed engineers. We offer the option to begin your studies here then transfer to an accredited institution to pursue a bachelor's or master's degree.
