University Street will be closed Tuesday, March 31, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
University Street will be closed Friday, March 27th, 2015, from 4pm until 8pm, and Saturday, March 28th, 2015, from 8am to 5pm, due to the installation of conduit under the road, as part of the Switchgear A replacement.

Sidewalk west of Howell-McDowell, from University Blvd to University Street, will be closed beginning Wednesday March 25, 2015 at 9:00am, and will remain closed for 30 consecutive days, due to the Switchgear A replacement project currently underway. We apologize for any inconvenience.

During the week of Spring Break, beginning Sunday March 15, 2015, at 6:00pm, current campus construction projects will impact parking and traffic flow. Areas affected are as follows:
1. Possible traffic interruptions due to concrete repairs around Lappin Hall.2. Crane location for installation of electric vault for Switch Gear. (new traffic pattern)3. Crane location for chiller replacement at Rader Hall. (parking temporary unavailable and new traffic pattern)4. Road blocked at Battson-Oats Drive between the Mignon complex and Breckinridge Hall, for steam repairs. (Traffic will flow through Mignon complex)

The Construction and Engineering Department will
begin construction on the West Campus Switch Gear Replacement Project on
Monday, January 12th, 2015. As a result of this, a portion of the
parking lot behind the Howell McDowell building will be closed beginning on
Monday, January 12th, and will continue to be closed for
approximately six months. This portion of the parking lot is located between
the Wesley Foundation and the Blair House, and it will displace approximately
32 spaces. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as we take these
necessary measures to improve our campus.

Beginning Monday morning, September 22, through Tuesday evening, September 23, the "S" zone gravel parking area adjacent to the Waterfield Hall demolition site will be closed in preparation for the new East Parking Structure/Dining Commons construction project. The civil engineers will need to drill borings for the Geo-Tech Survey as part of the project structural design. Vehicles parked in this lot during these dates will need to relocate to either the US 60 lots or the new Brass Eagle parking lot located on the corner of Main Street and University Boulevard. The “S” lot will reopen Wednesday morning, September 24. We apologize for the inconvenience.
