In addition to experiences in acting, there are production roles from design to technician for you in the program from your freshman year till the day you graduate. Smaller class sizes foster a wonderfully collaborative atmosphere for young and developing artists."

Paul Denayer hails from England but has since made the United States his home.  He holds a B.A. in Theatre Design from the University of South Florida and an M.F.A. in Lighting and Scenic Design from Kent State University.  Some of Denayer's designs include A Christmas Survival Guide, The Princess and the Pea, and MSU's The Comedy of Errors, Pterodactyls, The Spitfire Grill, Napoli Milionaria!, and Noises Off.  He is also the Resident Sound Designer for The Stephen Foster Story and Broadway Theatre Project. Paul teaches course in Lighting, scenic, Sound, and Stagecraft.

BS Veterinary Sciences, Rockford, IL"My love for MSU has increased over the years as I have met professors who continue to enhance my passion for my major and for the arts as well. As a member of the honorary dance fraternity Delta Chi Xi, advisor and dance professor Natasha Davis has continued to inspire me to become the best dancer that I can be and has provided me with numerous performance and experience opportunities."
