Welcome to McClure Pool!

The Russell McClure Pool, located in the Academic-Athletic Complex on the Morehead State University campus, is a multi-purpose aquatic facility offering a variety of aquatic programs, activities, and classes that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and experience levels.  Our facility features a large, L-shaped 172,000 gallon swimming pool with five 25-yard lanes and six 25-meter lanes.  A separate 169,000 gallon diving well, named after Coach Bill Mack, reaches a maximum depth of 20 feet.

One of the only indoor swimming facilities in the region, McClure Pool invites all University affiliates as well as members of the surrounding communities to take advantage of their opportunity to enjoy the water year round.  Both pools may be utilized for recreational swimming, training and conditioning, exercise and fitness, rehabilitation, swimming lessons, scuba classes, pool parties, and much, much more!

All patrons are required to complete the POOL ENROLLMENT FORM prior to using the facility.  Please note that all participation in any water activities is on a volunteer basis; therefore, McClure Pool will not assume responsibility for any injuries due to participation in water activities.
