Method of Payment

The UPO accepts cash, checks or money order for payment of services. At the present time we are unable to accept credit or debit cards.

Postage Stamps

Individual Stamps, Books of Stamps, Peel-N-Stick Stamps, Rolls of Stamps - various prices.

Money Orders

The maximum amount for money orders is $1,000.00. Each money order costs $.90. Only Cash is accepted for money orders. Checks cannot be accepted.

Plain Envelopes

Plain envelopes are $.05 each.

Stamped Envelopes

A #10 envelope with .34 cent stamp affixed - $.42 each.

Post Cards

A post card with postage affixed is $.23

Registered Mail

Registered mail is $7.25 plus postage. - This is the most secure service the Postal Service offers.

Priority Mail

Up to 1 lb. - $3.50
Over 1 lb., up to 2 lbs. and Flat Rate - $3.95
Over 2 lbs., up to 3 lbs. - $5.20
Over 3 lbs., up to 4 lbs. - $6.45
Over 4 lbs., up to 5 lbs. - $7.70

Express Mail

Next Day Delivery - Price depends on weight, zip code area.

International (Air) Mail

Aerogramme, etc. - Price depends on weight.

Parcel Post Mail

Takes longer for delivery. Weight limit of 70#. Cheaper rate. Based on weight and zip code.

Certified Mail

Receive tracing number. Package or letter must be signed for. $2.10 plus postage.

Return Receipt Cards

A card is returned to sender with signature of person receiving the letter or package. $1.50 plus postage.

Restricted Return Receipt Card

A card is returned to sender with signature of a particular person receiving the letter or package. The restricted return receipt card is $3.20 plus $1.50 for the return receipt card plus postage.

Insured Mail

Mail may be insured up to $5,000.00. Items cannot be insured for more than they are worth. Rates depend on the amount of insurance plus postage.

Media Mail

Media Mail price is based on weight. Letters are not allowed with the media. Cheaper rate. Slower delivery.

Library Rate

(Only available to the Library) Bound printed matter. Price is based on weight. Slower delivery.
