Welcome!
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) strives to provide outstanding support for MSU's faculty, staff and students in their pursuit of funding for research, other scholarly and creative activities, instruction, and public service.
Our office is organized around three important functions: Pre-Award Administration (PAA), Research Integrity and Compliance (RIC), and Research Enhancement. The PAA team handles all aspects of proposal development, from identifying funding sources to electronic proposal submission. The RIC team is responsible for research compliance issues ranging from the use of human and animal subjects to contract review. Finally, we provide a variety of resources (e.g., internal research funding, release time, undergraduate research fellowships, etc.) to faculty, staff and students to enhance and improve our institutional research infrastructure and capacity.
The ORSP staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to assist you in your quest for external funding. I encourage you to take full advantage of the many services provided by our office.
