The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is the administrative unit responsible for providing professional resources and services to enhance the ability of the faculty and staff in providing quality instruction, conducting research, delivering public services, and promoting professional growth through external funds in accordance with the authority delegated by the President of Morehead State University. The office reports to the Provost and Executive Vice President.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is the administrative unit responsible for conducting administrative review for all external grant and contract submissions. All requests for external funding (federal, state, and private) by faculty and staff must be processed through the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs for administrative review and approval prior to submission to the funding source.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs staff will provide support and guidance with proposal development, compliance requirements including human and animal subjects review, internal funding, and post-award administration.
