Specialized Classes

 

 

Staff members teach courses throughout the academic year just for SSS students:

 

Discovering University Life (MSU 101)is designed to support new students in making the academic, personal, and social adjustments needed for a successful university experience.  This is a one hour course.

Academic Success (EDGC 107) is a combination of Discovering University Life and Career Planning.  It is designed to address the freshman orientation and career development.

World of Work (MSU 400) is designed for Seniors and is a development of skills in self-assessment, researching companies, locating job opportunities, interviewing skills, and resume and cover letter writing.  This is a one hour course.

Study Skills (EDAH 102)is a course designed to provide special training in the skills and techniques necessary for college level study.  This is a one hour credit course.
