Computer Information Systems

Morehead State’s information systems program prepares students for careers as Information Systems/Technology managers in which they analyze system needs and develop appropriate computer-based solutions.  Work environments range from desktop hardware/software to enterprise systems. With classes in database management, information security, business analytics, and more, our program gives you the skills to effectively manage strategic technology solutions in an organization.

Online Option

The program allows students to finish all upper division information systems and business coursework online, allowing them to earn a bachelor's degree in two years, assuming they have completed appropriate business foundation and general education coursework prior to acceptance. The online option allows you to finish the last two years of classes online.

MSU also offers a minor in Computer Information Systems, which complements a variety of degrees in other fields.
