Eagle CareerNet

With Eagle CareerNet, our online career management system, you can search for on-campus jobs, part-time jobs, full-time jobs, internships/co-ops, etc. The system also allows you to upload your resume and other documents, and view employers who are conducting on-campus interviews.

Throughout the semester, MSU Career Services holds events to help students prepare for employment and connect with local employers. These events include Career Fairs, Workshops, and Road Shows, which will be posted in Eagle CareerNet or available from this website. View our calendar of events.

Career Inventories
A few simple surveys will help an experienced career counselor determine your personality type and interests. Using these inventories as a guide, the counselor will be able to suggest career paths and degrees for you to pursue.
Details and submission form available here.

Resume and Cover Letter Critique
Your resume is the most important document in your job search. Before you put it into the hands of a potential employer, let a career counselor review it.

Mock Interviews
An individual session with a coach will help prepare you for an interview. You will be asked to respond to actual interview questions, and will be offered constructive feedback based on your responses.

Why Should I get an internship or Co-op Job?

According to the National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE), candidates with career-related experience receive more interviews, more job offers, and higher starting salaries than candidates without such experience.

Using a webcam and InterviewStream, you can practice, record, and evaluate your answers to common interview questions, and even invite peers, professors, or career counselors to review and assess your performance. If you do not have access to a webcam, computers are available at the Career Center with the necessary hardware and software installed.
