Whether you are a current MSU student, a new MSU student, or a student visiting from another institution, we can help you make this summer productive, as well as fun! MSU offers a wide range of college courses (online and traditional) in a variety of academic programs. Check out this list of courses to see what works for you.
New freshman or transfer students enrolling for the summer and/or fall semester are encouraged to participate in the summer Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) program. Your attendance at SOAR is the next step to becoming a MSU student. At SOAR you will learn more about MSU, register for fall classes, meet other students, faculty, and staff who are excited to welcome you to the MSU family! Parents are strongly encouraged to attend. There is no fee to register for SOAR.
In order to provide the best service, there are a limited number of spaces for each program. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Register online at www.moreheadstate.edu/soar.
Planning to visit campus this summer? Schedule your visit with the Office of Enrollment Services so we can give you much more personal attention when you arrive on campus.
While you are in town, check out MSU's own Eagle Lake, Kentucky Folk Art Center, Kentucky Center for Traditional Music, and Eagle Trace Golf Course. Physically, the University is located in the foothills of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Rowan County. Cave Run Lake is just a short drive away. While you are here, check out our local restaurants and shops. Visit the Morehead Tourism Commission site for more information.
