 Transferring Made Simple

MSU offers transfer students a variety of options to complete a bachelor’s degree. You are considered a transfer student if you have taken college classes elsewhere after high school graduation.

Regional campuses: Complete your bachelor’s degree close to your home or job, at one of our regional locations in Ashland, Mt. Sterling, Prestonsburg or through the University Center of the Mountains in Hazard.

Online: Our online bachelor’s degree completion programs give you flexibility for completing your four-year degree. MSU also offers a number of programs completely online.

Morehead campus: Our campus in Morehead offers access to all our of our bachelor’s degree programs for students interested in pursuing a four-year degree full-time. This also offers you opportunities to participate in student organizations and campus life.

Joint admission: MSU now offers joint admission with Ashland, Big Sandy, Hazard, Maysville and Southeast Community and Technical Colleges. Apply once and be admitted to both. You'll have an MSU advisor and a KCTCS advisor to help you map your courses and guide you as you transfer.
