Our clinic is a full primary-care facility devoted to providing our students with quality medical care. Our clinic services include preventative care, allergy treatments, immunizations, treatment of illness, physicals and many other medical needs. Our counseling center offers mental health and substance abuse counseling, as well as emergency and crisis services to our students.

DID YOU KNOW?

MSU Counseling and Health Services was totally renovated in 2011. We not only underwent a physical renovation with new facilities, but we also added new laboratory testing contracts, family planning services through the health department, and added new members to our Counseling and Health Services family! For new policies and procedures, click here.

MSU is now a tobacco free campus!

The new tobacco policy applies to all students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors. There is to be no tobacco use on any campus and University-owned property.

Flu shots are now available!

Flu vaccines will be available starting Monday, October 3, 2011, at the health clinic located on the first floor of Allie Young Hall. Vaccines will be administered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eligible recipients of the vaccine are full or part time students, faculty, staff, and spouses, MSU retirees and spouses, and affiliate employees, such as Aramark. There will be no direct cost to eligible patients for the flu vaccine. We are however charging the expense of the vaccine and administration of the vaccine back to health insurance. Please bring your health insurance information with you. Those eligible persons with no health insurance coverage will receive the vaccine at no cost. For additional information contact Darlene Adams in Counseling and Health Services at 606-783-2123.
