Registration Procedures

(Currently Enrolled Students)

Spring 2010 Term -- November 9-17, 2009

Registration for Spring 2010 classes is open to students by classification and earned credit hours beginning November 9. Students have two options to register for classes:

  1. Online Web Registration
    Take advantage of the opportunity to process your schedule in the convenience of your residence hall, at home, or in on-campus computer labs through Datatel Online Web Registration that will be available from 6:00am, November 9 through midnight, November 17, 2009. 

    Web Registration is an option if you:

    1. Have cleared all holds,
    2. Have an approved schedule from your adviser, and
    3. Know your student ID number and password.

    How to Register Online:

    1. Clear all holds prior to Registration.
    2. Schedule an advising session with your academic adviser, or work with your adviser using E-advising tools. If you do not know how to locate your academic adviser, contact the department of your major.
    3. Register online according to the Registration Schedule below.
    4. Input your schedule by using Datatel WebAdvisor.

     

  2. In Your Academic Department

    Undergraduates and Graduate Students who encounter problems registering online may register for classes in the department of their major

    1. Clear all holds prior to Registration.
    2. Schedule an advising session with your academic adviser. If you do not know how to locate your academic adviser, contact the department of your major.
    3. Currently enrolled students may register in their academic departments from 8:00am to 4:30pm according to the Registration Schedule below.
  3. Priority Registration Special Categories

    November 5-6 Athletes and Currently Classified Veterans

Please contact the Registrar's Office if problems are encountered during the registration process.

(The number of hours earned does not include the current semester schedule)

Monday, November 9
Graduate Students with 21+ hours earned may begin at 6:00am
Graduate Students with 0-20 hours earned may begin at 12:30pm
Post Baccalaureate students may begin at 12:30pm
Tuesday, November 10
Seniors with 110+ hours earned may begin at 6:00am
Seniors with 90-109 hours earned may begin at 12:30pm
Wednesday, November 11
Juniors with 75-89 hours earned may begin at 6:00am
Juniors with 60-74 hours earned may begin at 12:30pm

Thursday, November 12
Sophomores with 45-59 hours earned may begin at 6:00am

Friday, November 13
Sophomores with 30-44 hours earned may begin at 6:00am

Monday, November 16
Freshmen with 1-29 hours earned may begin at 6:00am

Tuesday, November 17
Freshmen with 0 hours earned may begin at 6:00am

New transfer students may register any time Monday or Tuesday, November 16-17.

First-time freshmen admitted to Spring 2010 may begin Registration on Wednesday, November 18.
