Educator Resources

The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL) provides various educator resources each semester. Additionally, to address the challenge of finding time and funding for professional development sessions, the FCTL is also proud to offer Magna Webinars.

Educator Resources:

This blog is intended to encourage you to purposefully pause, think critically, reflect on your teaching and your students' learning. Cult of Pedagogy is run by a team of people committed to making you more awesome in the classroom.

On-Campus Opportunities

  • New faculty institute (hosted the week before the fall semester begins).
  • New faculty and staff regional tour.
  • Face-to-face workshops (often with nationally known speakers).

Off-Campus Opportunities

The FCTL provides partial scholarships for faculty and instructional staff to attend in-state conferences sponsored or supported by the Kentucky Council of Post-secondary Education. In most cases, priority is given to presenters when allocating this limited funding.

The FCTL also collaborates with the Office of the President to offer leadership training through various state and regional organizations.
