Professional Development

The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL) provides various opportunities for professional development each semester. Additionally, to address the challenge of finding time and funding for professional development sessions, the FCTL is also proud to offer Magna Webinars.

  • New faculty and staff regional tour.
  • Face-to-face workshops (often with nationally known speakers).

Off-Campus Opportunities

The FCTL provides partial scholarships for faculty and instructional staff to attend in-state conferences sponsored or supported by the Kentucky Council of Post-secondary Education. In most cases, priority is given to presenters when allocating this limited funding.

The CLPD also collaborates with the Office of the President to offer leadership training through various state and regional organizations.
