Update on Spring and Fall Commencement 2020

Given increasing health concerns in our state and with new guidance from Governor Beshear's office, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person commencement ceremonies scheduled for our graduates on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 and Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020. The current environment we are facing makes it difficult to set future dates for any in-person gatherings. The safety of all those in the Eagle community remains our top priority.

We understand the disappointment of our graduates and their families. To honor your accomplishments as best we can under these circumstances, we will be preparing "virtual" graduation ceremony videos that will be made available on Dec. 5 at www.moreheadstate.edu/graduation. Each graduate will have their name read as part of the virtual ceremony.

Please note that for fall/winter 2020 graduates this does not change the semester completion date of Nov. 24 or the posting of final grades on Dec. 3, 2020. You will be able to order your final transcript with your degree posted no later than Dec. 18, 2020, and your diploma will be mailed approximately six to eight weeks after this date.
