Tubafest is a series of concerts featuring instruments of the tuba family:
  • Monday, Sept. 23, 3 p.m.: Master class with Guest Artist Dr. Gail Robertson, euphonium, 117 Baird Music Hall
  • Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m.: SymbiosisDuo Recital (Dr. Gail Robertson, euphonium; Dr. Stacy Baker, tuba; Alex Thio and T.O. Sterrett, piano) Learn more
  • Saturday, Oct. 5, 6-7:30 p.m.: Oktoberfest with the MSU Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble and guest artists Dr. Gail Roberston, euphonium and Dr. Lori Baruth, clarinet at the Sawstone Brewing Company on Main Street in Morehead.
  • Sunday, Oct. 6, 3 p.m.: SymbiosisDuo: Dr. Gail Robertson, euphonium and Dr. Stacy Baker, tuba: “I. The Goblins’ Pranks” from The World of Dreams by Eduardo Nogueroles the Cave Run Symphony Orchestra on the "Double, Double, Toil and Trouble" Concert, Morehead Conference Center
  • Sunday, Nov. 3, 5 p.m.: Derek Easterling, Senior Recital, Euphonium
  • Sunday, Nov. 3, 7 p.m.: Nicholas Simon, Senior Recital, Euphonium
  • Sunday, Nov. 17, 3 p.m.: MSU Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble Fall Concert
  • Sunday, Nov. 24, 5 p.m.: Joseph Knagenhjelm, Senior Recital, Tuba
  • Sunday, Nov. 24, 7 p.m.: Dakota Burnette, Senior Recital, Euphonium
  • Monday, Dec. 2, 7:30 p.m.: MSU Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble featured on the MSU Choir Concert
  • Sunday, Dec. 7, 5:30-7 p.m.: MSU Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble, Hometown Holiday, CoffeeTree Books, Morehead
*all events are free and open to the public except the CRSO.
**all performances in Duncan Recital Hall (in Baird Music Hall) MSU unless other location is indicated by the event.
