Bio

Joe Curd earned both his bachelor's degree and master’s degrees from Va. Tech with an emphasis of studies in urban planning, land use regulation, land surveying and mapping and civil engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD in Technology Management, Construction Management option, from Indiana State University. Mr. Curd has owned and managed a land surveying and civil engineering firm in the Morehead, KY area since 1985. Before assuming his current role as an Instructor in the Department of Engineering and Technology Management, he was an adjunct lecturer at MSU in both the Geography and Engineering and Technology Management Departments. In addition to teaching at MSU, Joe is serves as the Morgan County KY Surveyor and Flood Plain Coordinator and Rowan Co. KY Subdivision Coordinator.  Joe says what he enjoys most about teaching is his students.
