Bio:   Dr. Jon Musgrave received his Ph.D. in Human Resource Development with a specialization in Organizational Development and Change from The University of Texas at Tyler, M.S. in Human Resources from Indiana State University, and B.S. in Adult and Career Education from Indiana State University. His doctoral research and dissertation focused on integrating strategic management best practices in organizations resistant to change. Leadership, strategic human resource management, and organizational behavior are the focus of his research. 
Prior to arriving at Morehead State University, Dr. Musgrave taught at Indiana State University and considers himself to be a scholar-practitioner. He worked as a career firefighter and a small business owner for over two decades. During his fire service career, he managed teams ranging in size from four to over one hundred members. His small business focused on the acquisition and performance of local, state, and federal contracts. He has also served as a professional development consultant for the International Ironworkers and as a course developer for Northcentral University.
Dr. Musgrave is a passionate fan of college football, a beekeeper, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and their two children.
