The Ernst & Sara Lane Volgenau College of Education Advising Center serves students seeking teaching certification in early childhood, elementary, middle grades and/or special education at the undergraduate level. Advisors may assist you in deciding which teaching certification to pursue and class scheduling each semester. Advising is a crucial element in the successful completion of the
Teacher Education Program (TEP) application process. Work closely with your advisor as you progress through your degree in order to stay up-to-date with changes in teacher education. In addition, regular meetings with advisors will allow you to know when to apply to the TEP and will help you graduate in a timely manner.
