LG&E and KU Electric Vehicle Charging Station added to MSU campus

lgeku_charging500px.jpgThis week a new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station was unveiled on Morehead State’s campus. As part of an initiative to improve charging infrastructure installed in the state, Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities added three new, publicly-accessible EV charging stations, meeting their goal of 20 stations.

The charging stations at MSU is the eastern most one and the only one on a college campus. It’s located at the Enrollment Services Building, 121 East Second Street, and is ready for use by the campus, community and visitors.

The stations are equipped with safety features, which include charging plugs that lock in the stand when not in use. They also have digital display screens and quick-pay options for a low effort customer experience. A complete list of charging stations and other resources is available at https://lge-ku.com/environment/alternate-fuels-road/ev
